Just in Time for St. Paddy's Day, a Prettier Shade of Green
by Carolyn Brundage
St. Patrick's Day will have many indulging in corned beef and green beer come Wednesday, but I'd be neglecting my job of keeping you gorgeous if I didn't point out that red meat and alcohol aren't exactly cornerstones on the path to pretty.
No need to imbibe, dolls, I've rounded up a few of my favorite eco-friendly beauty products sure to keep you "green" in a pinch.
Organic Glam is an organic color collection from UK's The Organic Pharmacy. The line, which is free of artificial preservatives and fragrances, calls upon minerals, herbal extracts and antioxidants. I've personally been using the eye shadow palette in "nude," loose powder and Ultra Glossy Lip Plump in "honey sparkle" and recommend them all. The Lip Plump is short on petrochemicals, fragrances, colorants and preservatives - important since the average woman eats pounds of lipstick and gloss in a lifetime - but long on shine.

Bound & Bitten Get all wrapped up in Spring's hottest chains
This spring, accessories continue to take over fashion, making last season's basic white tee new again. With multi-chain necklaces leading the charge, little black dresses and pastel tanks alike become of-the-moment bound in layers upon layers of silver, gold, pearls, charms and the like. Our PC readers have already told us they're equally likely to pick up a beauty product at a high end beauty boutique as they are at the drugstore. And when it comes to style, your M.O. is much the same-you mix affordable pieces with luxury must haves, saving sometimes and splurging others. Shop on. Read the article... |
