Ok,
you’ve had your fun with your bright pinks, punchy
purples and other daring hues during the summer months,
but fall is on its way, and so are some more “polished”
nail lacquers. To ease the transition from hot pink
to cool red, we’ve rounded up our favorite nail
colors for fall.
Fall’s the time to welcome brown hues with “I’m
Fondue of You” from the OPI
Collection de France. This dark chocolate hue looks
good enough to eat and refined enough to complement
any outfit.
As we’ve learned in past seasons, when it comes
to dark polish, be sure to keep a bottle of your chosen
hue handy, as a single chip can mean the difference
between elegantly polished and unfortunately unkempt.
But, if you can’t resist those dark and darling
shades, take another color hint from OPI’s French
collection with their crimson “Bastille
My Heart.” Sure to complement fall’s
dark duds, this twist on the classic red makes a bold
and lasting color statement.
Some of us just can’t walk away from our signature
color, pink. Let essie’s brand new “Swept
off my Feet” steal your favor and adorn your
nails this fall. This deep, sophisticated pink is, thankfully,
less sorority and more sultry than our beloved summer
pink shades, and is the perfect pink for fall.
If you’re looking to step outside the box with
your fall color, we think essie’s “No
Boundaries” will easily do the trick. This
bold fuchsia is sure to turn some heads, but its dark
base is still appropriate for fall.
