Italian model and actress, Monica Bellucci, has inspired a new collection of color cosmetics from Dolce&Gabbana. The recently released Monica Lipstick Collection boasts rich, jewel tones including a deep fuchsia, rich red and even a just-right hue of nude called "Natural Monica."

Makeup artist Pat McGrath, Creative Advisor to Dolce & Gabbana Make Up, calls the colors classic and iconic.  “The colors are very sexy and flattering on a wide range of complexions. They also reflect the lip trends seen at the shows with nude tones as well as bold reds in a variety of hues,” said McGrath, who has worked with Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Aniston, among others.

Katy Perry, best known for hit songs, kissing girls and colorful hair, has launched a collection of DIY false-eyelashes in partnership with British company, Eylure.

The strip lashes, currently sold at Ulta for $6.99 per set, are 100% natural, reusable and safe for consumers who wear contact lenses.

According to the company, creation of the lash collection was overseen by Perry as a direct extension of her style.  Easy-on, easy-off styles include "Cool Kitty," "Oh My," and others.

Simon Zussman, managing director of Eylure, expects the collection to generate sales in excess of $65 million. Financially speaking, that could mean fireworks.
